The feldspar is very well formed and creates a lovely base for the schorl and aquamarine to contrast against. Several robust schorl crystals and a sprinkling of smaller crystals pop off the entire feldspar surface. This particular specimen is wildly unique and a fantastic example of the amazing minerals found in Namibia. What appears to be 4 aquamarine crystals that have grown together are studded on one side with lustrous schorl crystals. The aquamarine crystals have nice luster and gemmyness while also having some colorful inclusions. I personally believe the variety of aquamarine specimens from Erongo with different mineral associations make for some of the most aesthetic in the mineral world. I purchased this specimen from Collectors Edge, in 2011 CE purchased the Uli Bahmann collection alongside Wendel Minerals.
