Ex. Uli Bahmann Collection
Uli Bahmann is perhaps the most famous purveyor of mineral specimens from Namibia. He was involved in many of the notable discoveries across the majority of Namibia and South Africa. His collection was well known to include many of the top finds of any given species as noted in the "Erongo" 2006 issue of The Mineralogical Record. This particular specimen is wildly unique and a fantastic example of the amazing minerals found in Namibia. What appears to be 4 aquamarine crystals that have grown together are studded on one side with lustrous schorl crystals. The aquamarine crystals have nice luster and gemmyness while also having some colorful inclusions. I personally believe the variety of aquamarine specimens from Erongo with different mineral associations make for some of the most aesthetic in the mineral world. If you collect Namibian minerals this one will be amongst the most unique you can obtain!
