This specimen is from a historical locality and not easy to find on today's marketplaces. The Pala Chief Mine is one of the oldest operating gem mines in the United States and is well known for world class Kunzite and Tourmaline specimens. Aquamarine has been discovered throughout the history of the mine but modern high quality crystals like this are far and few between. The crystal is 7cm tall and features a unique hollow tube running up the c-axis that could have formed when a schorl crystal acted as a "seed" for the aquamarine to grow around but later dissolved. The termination is a very light colored pink in the right lighting. To top it off the crydtal is also double terminated. This specimen was dug by Ocean/View Mining Company and Levi Gregory - Watch the video for a short clip of the crystal when it was discovered!!!

Minerals pictured attached to an acrylic base will be delivered attached to the base. We can unmount the specimen for you if you prefer.

You can order as many prints as you want and the shipping charge stays the same. We are not responsible for prints damaged when you open the package. Damage or Loss:

If your print is damaged during shipment we must be notified within 24 hours - Please include pictures of the damaged packaging. We are not responsible for artwork damaged during the unpacking process - Please use great caution when handling your artwork!
